titleOfInvention Light irradiation-type cosmetic device
abstract A light irradiation-type cosmetic device comprising, at one end of a main body (1) which is to be held in user's hand, a light source (33) and a lens (30), whereby the skin of a living organism is irradiated with light, that is generated from the light source (33), via the lens (30). The device is provided with at least either a plurality of exchangeable irradiation units (22) housing the light source (33) and the lens (30) or a plurality of exchangeable covers (48) covering the light source (33) and the lens (30). By exchanging one of the the irradiation units (22) or the covers (48) attached to the main body (1) with another unit or cover, the wavelength of the light for irradiating the skin can be altered. Owing to this constitution, multiple different photocosmetic effects can be exerted on the skin depending on the irradiation lights thus altered. Namely, multiple photocosmetic effects can be achieved by using a single main body (1), which improves the convenience in using.
