titleOfInvention Catalytic systems of rhodium and cerium oxide modified for the decomposition of n2o to n2 and o2
abstract The present invention describes a catalytic system that comprises an active rhodium phase supported on a mixed oxide of cerium and of one or more metals selected from the transition and internal transition metal groups, for example Pr, La, Zr, Y, Th or Sm, and a support, such as alumina. The invention also describes a method for producing the catalytic system and the use thereof for the elimination and/or reduction of the N 2 O content of a gas that comprises said gas, for example an effluent from an anthropogenic source such as industry or a diesel engine.
