titleOfInvention |
Hybrid acrylic/siloxane coating for construction materials and method for the production thereof |
abstract |
The present invention is a product for modifying the surface of substrates with a view to reducing the slippery nature thereof. The invention comprises a hybrid water-based organic/inorganic adhesive coating with good mechanical properties that can be applied to the surface of a cladding material in order to reduce the slipperiness thereof. The production method is a combination of two methods: IPN (Interpenetrating Polymer Networks); and synthesis of hybrids using the sol-gel process. The combination of these two methods for producing the product allows the addition of a higher weight percentage of silicon in the final formulation without giving rise to typical sedimentation phenomena. |
