abstract Currently, fish farming nets that are widely used are basically formed by walls and a bottom, which when connected, form semi-cube or semi-cylindrical figures with some variations but within the same design. Once submerged, said nets transform into a substrate that is colonised by organisms of the marine environment, called biofouling, which gradually grows, impeding the normal passage of water through the net, affecting the development of the fish that are being farmed, and going as far as to affect survival. In order to minimise this activity, the nets are replaced periodically by other clean nets or are impregnated with antifouling paints having an active substance that is basically a highly contaminated heavy metal such as copper, with high operating costs. The invention relates to a net having a spherical geometrical body form that can be rotated, when completely closed, gradually exposing the net outside the water or on the sea floor, naturally eliminating the biofouling, without needing to change the nets or treat them with antifouling paint.
