The invention relates to a method for removing CO 2 from exhaust gases (9), such as exhaust gases from plants for producing raw iron or exhaust gases from syngas plants, wherein the CO 2 is removed by means of chemical and/or physical absorption (14), wherein the heat for regenerating the absorption agent is at least partially obtained from an air fractionation system (23). The CO 2 can thereby be separated from other gases from the exhaust gases to a greater degree than for pressure swing adsorption, and a lower-quality energy carrier can nevertheless be used therefor. |
