titleOfInvention | Method for organizing variables in a database |
abstract | The invention relates to a method for organizing a database (4) including variables, such as indicators (I 1 , I 2 , I 3 ) relating to an object assuming a plurality of states, wherein values associated with the respective states correspond to each variable. According to the method: automated means (2) identify correlations between at least some of the variables; the means (2) form groups, each consisting of one of the variables (/ 3 ) and others (I 1 , I 2 ) of the variables correlated with the latter and sufficient for deducing the latter; and the means (2) associate, in a database (4) and with each of the variables of the group, a datum (M) indicating at least one identity of the other variables of the group. |
