abstract | An opposed type optimum thrust engine is provided, wherein two pistons (15, 19) are fitted in a cylinder (14) with their top surfaces directed towards each other, a combustion chamber (18) is formed by two top surfaces of the pistons and the inner wall of the cylinder. After mixed gas of fuel and air is ignited, the two pistons are pushed to move in opposite directions, and two special-shaped guide rods (1, 32) are pushed to move linearly via piston rods (10, 20), pull rods (7, 26) and guide posts (6, 27). Two disks (30, 37) are installed on one shaft and rotate synchronously, each special-shaped guide rod pushes the disk to rotate by means of a composite curve slide rail on the special-shaped guide rod and a short shaft installed on each disk. |
