titleOfInvention Coating method for cosmetic color contact lenses
abstract The present invention relates to a coating method for cosmetic color contact lenses. More particularly, the coating method includes the steps of: designing inner and outer diameters and depth of a corrosion plate in predetermined numerical ranges for corrosion (S1); adding a curing agent into a coating polymer and stirring the result (S2); thinly coating the polymer onto an outer portion of a lens (S3); carrying out heat treatment by using a hot-air drying machine after the coating (S4); and polishing the coated portion by using a cloth pad and a polishing liquid (S5). The cosmetic color contact lens may be worn for a long time without feeling uncomfortable due to superior wearing sensation, since the coating polymer is thinly coated on the outer surface of a colored lens according to the coating method. The color of the lens is not faded so that the front and rear surfaces of the lens may be easily distinguished. The cosmetic color contact lens is increased in tensile strength and material strength by the coating method through heat treatment. In addition, the effects of mass production may be expected.
