The invention relates to a method for producing foamed plastic parts, wherein a propellant composition is introduced into a plastic matrix and brings about pore formation in the plastic matrix by releasing at least carbon dioxide gas from the propellant composition, wherein the propellant composition comprises at least one carbon dioxide carrier, selected from carbonates, hydrogen carbonates, and carbamates of the alkali metals, the alkali earth metals, aluminum, the transition metals, and/or ammonium, and at least one acid carrier. |
