abstract |
Disclosed is a grease composition for constant velocity joints, which comprises the following components: (a) a base oil; (b) a diurea thickening agent; (c) at least one oily component selected from the group consisting of palm olein, palm stearin and glycerin monooleate; (d) a molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate sulfide represented by the following formula: (R3R4N-CS-S)2-Mo2OmSn (wherein R3 and R4 independently represent an alkyl group having 1 to 24 carbon atoms; m represents 0 to 3; and n represents 4 to 1, wherein the sum total of m and n is 4 (i.e., m+n = 4)); (e) zinc sulfionate; and (f) a sulfur-phosphorus-type extreme pressure additive. The grease composition for constant velocity joints can lubricate a constant velocity joint with high efficiency to reduce abrasion and prevent the generation of vibrations. |
