titleOfInvention Molten grains of alumina-zirconia
abstract The invention relates to a molten grain having the following chemical analysis, in wt %: ZrO 2 + HfO 2 : 38.0 to 46.0%; Al 2 O 3 : the remainder up to 100%; SiO 2 : 0.20 to 0.60%; Y 2 O 1 : 0.45 to 0.70%; TiO 2 : 1.00 to 2.00%; other oxides: < 1.00%, the ratio of Y 2 O 3 /SiO 2 being 0.80 to 2.00, and the quadratic phase being 60 to 90% of the weight of the zirconia, the remainder being in monoclinic form.
