The present invention improves conventional methods for producing a cellulose membrane derived from sea squirts and Styela clava to remove fine cellulose fiber-binding proteins which are present in the skin horny layer of Ascidiacea completely and more effectively, to increase the water penetrability by widening the spaces between fine cellulose fibers, to oxidize strongly fine cellulose fibers, and ultimately to provide a method for producing a pure bioactive cellulose membrane. In addition, the present invention provides a bioactive cellulose membrane, which is a pure bioactive cellulose membrane separated from Ascidiacea and applicable to the human body in various ways. The present invention includes a bioactive cellulose membrane which is effectively used mainly for antibacterial action on a wound or scar from a burn or the like, protection of an injury, stimulation of blood coagulation or wound healing, induction of bone formation or bone transplantation which stimulates healing of a fracture or bone defects, induction of nerve regeneration which allows the recovery of nerve disorders by external injuries or a cut, induction of serosa regeneration which stimulates the regeneration of damaged serosa, and cultivation and/or transplantation of bone marrow cells, serosal cells, embryonic stem cells or adult stem cells. |
