abstract |
Disclosed is a hydrogen storage alloy electrode which has a hydrogen storage alloy layer having excellent water repellency and is capable of suppressing the increase of the pressure within a battery. The hydrogen storage alloy electrode provides a nickel hydrogen secondary battery that has excellent cycle characteristics and load characteristics. The hydrogen storage alloy electrode comprises a hydrogen storage alloy layer (I) on a conductive supporting body (II), and the hydrogen storage alloy layer (I) contains a chlorotrifluoroethylene polymer (a) having a weight average molecular weight of 500-1200, a binder (b), and hydrogen storage alloy particles (c). Also disclosed is a nickel hydrogen secondary battery. |
