The invention relates to a method for diastereomer-free and enantiomer-free production of bicyclic and tricyclic compounds by race mate splitting. Alcohols, thiols, or amines are transformed into a salt by means of a dicarboxylic acid or a dicarboxylic acid derivate and subsequent converting of the intermediate product thus obtained by means of an enantiomer-enriched base. By crystallizing and subsequently splitting the dicarboxylic acid, the desired alcohol or thiol or amine is obtained, in particular one of the compounds I to III of the following schema 3. |
