titleOfInvention Device for singularizing micro-objects
abstract The present invention relates to a device for singularizing micro-objects on a solid support or into a solution, said device comprising a sample reservoir (1) for receiving a sample solution comprising at least one micro-object, wherein said sample reservoir (1) is fluidly connected via a tube (2) with a capillary (3) comprising a capillary notch (15), wherein said capillary (3) is arranged in a capillary holder (4) and said sample reservoir (1) or said tube (2) is connected to at least one means for moving the at least one micro-object within the device, wherein a means for determining the passing of a singularized micro-object through the capillary notch is arranged at the tube (2) and/or capillary notch (15), wherein the inner diameter of the capillary notch is substantially identical to the diameter of the micro-objects to be singularized.
