An equipment for preheating bulk metal charge and feeding it continuously to an electric furnace comprises a vibratory conveying device for putting the charge into the furnace (1), a roller-shaped tank for preheating the metal charge (2) and a vibratory conveying and gas sealing device for putting the charge into the tank (3). For preheating the metal charge (B), the metal charge (B) is put into the tank (2), and then the preheated metal charge is put into the electric furnace. Flue gas is drawn through the vibratory conveying device for putting the charge into the furnace (1), the roller-shaped tank for preheating the metal charge (2) and the vibratory conveying and gas sealing device for putting the charge into the tank (3). |
