abstract The invention relates to the production of intensively desalinated water and can be used in different industries. The method involves successively feeding water which has undergone preliminary desalination through an OH anion exchange filter with a strongly basic anion resin and an H cation exchange filter with a strongly acidic cation resin during an additional intensive desalination stage. The process is carried out with a carbonate index I c n ie of less than 2 (mg equivalent/dm 3 ) 2 on the OH anion exchange filter in the anion exchange zone.
