abstract Provided are materials characterized by being capable of photopattering or by having flexibility required of flexible substrates, etc. and being less susceptible to alteration/discoloration even when exposed to high temperatures or light, while retaining heat resistance and long-lasting high insulating properties and retaining the intact basic properties of solder resists, color resists, or the like. One of the materials is a reactive polyurethane compound (A) obtained by reacting an epoxy carboxylate compound (a), a compound (b) having two hydroxy groups and one or more carboxy groups in the molecule, and a compound (c) containing no aromatic ring and having two isocyanate groups in the molecule, the compound (a) being obtained by reacting an epoxy resin (i) containing no aromatic ring and having two epoxy groups in the molecule with a compound (ii) having one or more polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated groups and one or more carboxy groups in the molecule. Others are a product of acid modification of the compound (A), an actinic-energy-ray-curable resin composition containing the compound (A) or the modification product, and a cured object formed from the composition.
