abstract Disclosed is an orally disintegrating tablet which contains precipitated calcium carbonate as an active ingredient. Also disclosed is a method for producing the orally disintegrating tablet. Specifically, the orally disintegrating tablet is prepared into a tablet form using a crystalline cellulose, which serves as an excipient, and at least one substance selected from the group consisting of low-substituted hydroxypropylcelluloses, crospovidones and carmellose calcium, which serves as a disintegrant, in addition to the precipitated calcium carbonate contained therein as an active ingredient and a lubricant.
