The present invention relates to a composition for preventing and treating anxiety disorder, containing a cholinergic enhancer, and more specifically, a cholinergic enhancer restores the increased anxiety and the cholinergic theta rhythm reduced by the deletion of C (phospholipase C, PLC)-ß4 back to normal levels, thereby enabling the effective treatment of an anxiety disorder patient through control of cholinergic theta rhythm profile. Therefore, said cholinergic enhancer can be usefully used for preventing and treating anxiety disorder. |
