abstract Method for rejuvenating a bitumen containing compositions, said method comprising adding to the bitumen containing composition a raw cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL). In particular the raw cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL) is subjected to a temperature treatment at about 50 °C to 380 °C. Advantageously the cashew nut shell liquid has a viscosity comprised between 1,000 and 30,000 mPas -1 and an average saturation factor of 1 to 5.
