abstract |
The invention relates to reducing the damage to materials comprising cellulose through the use of bleach-active catalysts when bleach-treating materials comprising cellulose without substantially influencing the bleaching performance in doing so. This is substantially achieved by means of a method for bleach-treating materials comprising cellulose in the presence of a bleaching agent comprising peroxygen and a bleach-reinforcing transition metal complex that is carried out in the presence of cellulose acetate. |
