A cuff for a sphygmomanometer is equipped with an air bag (34) for pressing a living body, an outer cover (30) enclosing the air bag (34), and a fixed unit (40) provided on the outer cover (30). A portion of the outer cover (30) nearer to the other end (30b) is passed between a roller (44) and a stopper (46) provided in the fixed unit (40), and pressed toward the roller (44) by a stopper (46), whereby the portion is fixed. The roller (44) can rotate in only the direction along which the size of the annular portion of the outer cover (30) is decreased. With such a configuration, the cuff can be easily mounted onto the upper arm, and the mounting of the cull onto the upper arm can be stably reproduced. In addition, the configuration of a cuff for a sphygmomanometer can be made to be simple, and the cuff can be manufactured at a low lost. |
