abstract The invention relates to a mobile computer system, comprising at least one separate mobile computer unit A and at least one separate mobile display unit B, which are to be interconnected by way of a cable and/or wireless connection, and which exchange data and/or energy. The display unit A is formed by an imaging module and at least one non-volatile mass storage. The computer unit B is formed by a mobile computer (preferably without a display unit) which is provided with RAM storage, an optional network card, and a power supply (a rechargeable battery, for example). The display unit A and the computer unit (component B) are interconnected such that upon disconnecting the connection between the display unit A and the computer unit B, a part of, or all of, the storage content of the computer in the computer unit B is copied to the storage of the display unit A either automatically or upon a user's command.
