abstract | Described is a method of providing headache and migraine relief by applying traction to the cervical spine of a human subject. The human subject may be placed in a supine or prone position with an attachment means positioned around the skull region of the human subject. The attachment means is coupled to a traction means, which provides traction forces for stretching the cervical spine and providing relief from headache and migraine pain associated with cervical compression.
