titleOfInvention Photodetector device and photodetection method, and microscope and endoscope
abstract Provided are a photodetector device and a photodetection method, with which the heterodyne detection of a desired light to be detected can be performed, in high sensitivity and at a high SN ratio, and, a microscope and an endoscope. The photodetector device comprises a local light emitting means (10) for emitting a local light having a plurality of optical frequency components within the optical frequency band of the detected light for a constant time period, an optical multiplexing means (20) for multiplexing the local light generated from the local light emitting means (10) and the detected light, and a photoelectric converting means (30) for photoelectrically converting the light outputted from the optical multiplexing means (20), to generate a beat signal of the local light and the detected light. The detected light is subjected to a heterodyne detection on the basis of the output of the photoelectric converting means (30).
