Sirna to be bound to transcripts of apoptosis-related genes, and compositions for treating cancer using same |
abstract |
The present invention relates to siRNA to be bound to transcripts of apoptosis-related genes, and to compositions for treating cancer using same. More particularly, the present invention relates to siRNA which is bound to the mRNA of TRAF7 (tumor necrosis factor receptor associated factor) genes or TAB2 (TAK1 binding protein 2) genes to inhibit the expression of said genes, thus leading to cancer cell-specific apoptosis and to compositions for treating cancer containing said siRNA as an active ingredient. The siRNA and the compositions containing same according to the present invention induce cancer cell-specific apoptosis, and therefore, can be used as effective anticancer therapeutic agents which cause no damage to normal cells. |
