abstract |
Disclosed is a microneedle device wherein a polymer active component is substantially uniformly contained in a coating agent. Specifically disclosed is a microneedle device (1), which comprises a microneedle substrate (2) and a microneedle (3) that is formed on the microneedle substrate (2) and capable of piercing the skin. The surface of the microneedle (3) and/or at least a part of the upper surface of the microneedle substrate (2) is coated with a coating agent that contains a polymer active component and a water-soluble polymer. The water-soluble polymer content in the coating agent is 0.1-30% by weight, and the ratio of the water-soluble polymer content to the polymer active component content in the coating agent is within the range from 5:1 to 1:100. |
