abstract The present invention relates to post-sulfonated copolymers containing perfluorocyclobutane groups, a preparation method, and a use thereof. The polymers containing perfluorocyclobutane groups according to the present invention enable easy preparation in a solution and a molten state. The prepared electrolyte membrane: obtains the enhanced proton conductivity; has strong mechanical properties and is chemically stable; can control the distribution, location, and number of sulfonic acid groups in the polymer skeleton; and prevent decrease of physical properties of the membrane caused by increase of the sulfonic acid groups. Therefore, the electrolyte membrane can be processed in various shapes such as a polymer blend membrane, a crosslinked polymer membrane, a polymer composite membrane, a flat membrane, a hollow fiber membrane, and a tube membrane and can be valuably used for a fuel cell membrane, an ion exchange membrane, a dehydration membrane, and a humidifying membrane, and so on.
