abstract The present invention relates to the development of immunodominant B-cell epitope based protein vaccine having SEQ ID No.: 1 eliciting immune response against anthrax. The invention also relates to a polynucleotide sequence having SEQ ID No.: 2 encoding epitope based protein vaccine. The invention also relates to the method of preparation and purification of epitope based protein vaccine. The present invention further relates to vaccine composition of B-cell epitope based protein vaccine against anthrax, its method of preparation and process of using the composition. The vaccine or the vaccine composition of the present invention generates high titers of antibodies having high affinity and avidity and are highly effective in in vitro neutralization of B . anthracis lethal toxin and conferring protection against in vivo lethal toxin challenge.
