abstract |
The present invention relates to a catalytic composition implementing at least one Ru complex and at least one Q+A- compound (Q+ being a cation and A- an anion), such that the molar ratio between Q+A- and the Ru is less than 40, to perform the metathesis of an unsaturated fat with an olefin. The present invention also describes a method for the metathesis of an unsaturated fat with an olefin in the presence of a catalytic composition including at least one Ru complex and at least one compound with the general formula Q+A- (Q+ being a cation and A- an anion), such that the molar ratio between Q+A- and the Ru is less than 40 and such that the molar ratio between the Ru and the unsaturated fat is less than 0.2%. |
