abstract |
Disclosed is a polarizing plate which uses an optical film that has high heat resistance and high moisture resistance, has remarkably improved cutting ability, and that maintains excellent image display ability for a long time when used in a high-temperature environment; further disclosed is a liquid crystal display device which uses said polarizing plate. This polarizing plate is characterized in that the polarizing plate uses an optical film that contains an acrylic resin (A) and a cellulose ester resin (B), with said optical film containing the acrylic resin (A) and the cellulose ester resin (B) in a mass ratio of 95:5 to 30:70, and in that the optical film undergoes a saponification process. |
