abstract |
Method and device for detecting drawing defects, whereby it is possible to detect limit thinning or creep and cracks or breaks in the drawing or forging of sheet metal components in a press by means of analysis of the temperature generated during deformation, infrared thermography and image-analysis technique being used to detect said defects. To that end, immediately after the drawing process has been performed on the sheet metal, the temperature is measured directly in the deformation zone. Said zone has been determined previously with the aid of the FLD of the material of the metal sheet to be analyzed. |
