abstract Of the many compositions and methods provided herein, an embodiment of a method comprises introducing a foamed cement composition into a subterranean formation, wherein the foamed cement composition comprises: a cementitious component; a foaming and stabilizing surfactant; an oil-swellable particle; gas; and water; and allowing the settable composition to set in the subterranean formation. Another embodiment of a method comprises introducing a foamed cement composition into an annulus between a pipe string and a subterranean formation, wherein the foamed cement composition comprises comprising: a cementitious component; a foaming and stabilizing surfactant; an oil-swellable particle; gas; and water; and allowing the settable composition to set in the annulus. An embodiment of a foamed cement composition comprises a cementitious component, a foaming and stabilizing surfactant, a swellable particle, gas, and water.
