The present invention relates to a soil stabilizer having a moisture-storing effect, comprising at least one gel-forming polymer, wherein the gel-forming polymer is based on alkenyl ester copolymers and wherein the alkenyl ester copolymers comprise one or more monomers from the group of alkenyl esters of un-branched or branched alkyl carboxylic acids with 1 to 18 C atoms according to formula (I) and 0.1 to 1.0% of doubly or multiply unsaturated compounds, based on the weight of all monomers used, as a cross-linking agent. |
