titleOfInvention Optical film, polarizing plate and liquid crystal display device
abstract Disclosed is an optical film having high heat resistance and remarkably improved brittleness, which maintains extremely excellent image display properties for a long time even when used in a high temperature environment.  Also disclosed is a liquid crystal display device using the optical film.  The optical film is characterized by containing (A) an acrylic resin and (B) a cellulose ester resin having a repeating unit represented by general formula (1) or (2). In the general formulae, A and B each represents a divalent hydrocarbon group having 1-12 carbon atoms or a divalent hydrocarbon group having 1-12 carbon atoms and substituted by a hydroxyl group.  In this connection, A and B may be the same as or different from each other.
