abstract The invention relates to a composition containing between 20 and 80 wt. % of glucosylglycerol and between 0.5 and 20 wt. % of at least one monosaccharide and/or disaccharide. Surprisingly, it has been shown that an especially aqueous solution containing a high concentration of glucosylglycerol has an exceptionally high long-term stability. The composition exhibits a bactericidal and fungicidal action.
