abstract The invention relates to a process comprising the steps consisting in: - carrying out a hydrotreatment or a hydrocracking operated under a pressure of 20 to 120 bar and at a temperature between 250 and 500°C, preferably between 350 and 400°C, on a hydrocarbon-based feedstock comprising or consisting of a feedstock of petroleum origin, a feedstock of biological origin comprising or constituted by plant oils and/or animal fats, at least 5% by weight of the fatty acids of which have a chain length less than or equal to 14 carbon atoms relative to the total weight of the triglycerides, preferably at least 20% by weight, or even at least 50% by weight - carrying out a fractionation so as to recover a kerosene fraction, said fraction preferably having a boiling point below 300°C, and more preferably still a boiling point below 240°C.
