abstract | The present invention relates to a veterinary suspension formulation that can be homogeneously dispersed in water and contains therapeutic and prophylactic medication, comprising an active compound, namely a benzoimidazole-type anthelmintic, more specifically flubendazole, suitable for administration to animals, and to a method for preparing said veterinary formulation. The present invention aims at solving the problems of administration of medicaments in drinking water, and offers an attractive alternative, provided the effectiveness of the treatment is linked to the following parameters: maximum medicament availability; minimum segregation of the active compound in the watering system; precise and homogeneous dosage in the water supply; stability of the active ingredient in the watering system, whatever the quantity of water used. |
