titleOfInvention Impregnation with an emulsion
abstract The invention relates to a wood impregnation method, in which an emulsion is absorbed into wood by means of pressure difference. The emulsion contains a reaction product of a fatty acid obtained from a natural oil and a polyalcohol, an emulgator and water. In this way the dimensional stability and the water repulsion of wood can be physically improved. In addition a good biological durability is achieved.
