titleOfInvention Method for the recovery of noble metals
abstract The invention relates to methods for the recovery of noble metals and can be used to recover noble metals from mineral raw materials containing chlorides of alkali and alkaline-earth metals, such as potash production slurries.  The method involves removing excess chlorides and water from slurries containing noble metals and chlorides of alkali and alkaline-earth metals and then sending the slurries for drying and roasting at a temperature of 850–950°C, after which the cinder is leached with dilute hydrochloric acid solution.  Noble metals are sorbed from the resultant pulp using a resin (such as AM–2B).
