abstract |
The invention refers to the area of energy production and relates to a method and to a device similar to that which can be used in a biogas production facility, for example. The object of the present invention is to provide a method and a device for increasing the biogas yield of biogas production facilities. The object is accomplished through a method in which the fermentation residue I is subjected to a solid-liquid separation and then the fluid phase of the fermentation residue is subjected to a method for enlarging the solid surface area and for removing dissolved gases, and the resultant products are either fed to the fermenter(s) of the biogas production facility and/or to a further fermenter. The object is further accomplished through a device comprising a biogas production facility, at least one device for solid-liquid separation of fermentation residues from a biogas production facility and a device for enlarging the solid surface area and for removing dissolved gases. |
