abstract | Provided is a reactor and a method for producing high-purity granular silicon. The reactor comprises a reactor chamber; a solid inlet, an attendant gas inlet, a feed gas inlet and a tail gas outlet which are fitted on the reactor chamber, wherein a gas distributor is located in the reactor chamber; the reactor chamber is fitted with preheating means; a tail gas treating means is provided outside the reactor chamber between the preheating means and the gas inlet; the reactor chamber is connected to a surface treating means; the reactor chamber is fitted with a heating means and a motion inducing means. By the reaction of silicon-containing gas in a compact high purity granular silicon bed in motion state and use of the tail gas heat for preheating, it is realized to produce high-purity granular silicon effectively and continuously in reduced energy, large scale and low cost. |
