Disclosed are: a 4-methylpentene-1 polymer having a syndiotactic structure, which comprises a constituent unit X derived from 4-methylpentene-1 and a constituent unit Y derived from at least one member selected from ethylene and an a-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms (provided that 4-methylpentene-1 is excluded) and meets all of the requirements [1] to [3] shown below; and a laminate comprising a layer composed of the 4-methylpentene-1 polymer, an intermediate layer composed of an adhesive resin composition, and a layer composed of an olefin polymer: [1] 80=x=100 and 20=y=0 (wherein x represents the content (mol%) of the constituent unit X in the polymer, y represents the content (mol%) of the constituent unit Y in the polymer, and x+y = 100); [2] the intrinsic viscosity [?] is 0.65 to 10.0 dl/g inclusive as measured by using a decalin solution at 135°C; and [3] the syndiotactic diad fraction (r) is 90% or more as measured by 13C-NMR. |
