Laser intradermal therapy procedure, is a surgical procedure for wrinkles, hemangiomas, hair follicles and tattoo removal through thermal stimulation or destruction of target-tissues, using an optical fiber with spherical extremity (9), which is used to conduct a laser energy (1), to the dermis and subcutaneous tissue (7), through a needle (10), or catheter (11), which can be connected to a hand-piece device (12); the optical fiber (9), goes completely through the layer of epidermis (6), and is introduced into any desired skin depth (7), allowing the laser (1), to be applied directly on the target tissue (5), without being absorbed by the melanin pigments (2), inside the epidermis; as a result, it allows the treatment of dark skin or tanned patients and allows the doctor to control exactly the area and the depth were the laser (1), will act with best therapeutic results with no energy lost or excessive patient exposure; as a consequence, the procedure allows the use of lower laser energies compared to conventional laser application outside the skin (3); the procedure is also very precise, safe and specific, allowing the doctor to know, through the laser beam guide light, the exact location of the optical fiber (9), position beneath the skin, increasing the treatment precision and positive results. |
