abstract Provided is a method for introducing a sample for laser ionization mass analysis. An axis for injecting a sample gas obliquely intersects an axis for detection by flying of ions generated by a ionization laser. Thus, it is possible to reduce collisions between atoms and molecules in the ions and the sample gas and suppress lowering of the mass resolution.
