titleOfInvention Reducing bushing with twisted slits
abstract The invention relates to a tool holder (1) with a tool receptacle in the form of a bushing section (3) for holding a tool shaft (4) in a pressed fit (shrink fit chuck), wherein between the tool shaft (4) and the effective surface of the bushing section (3) an elastic reducing bushing is provided, via which the bushing section applies the tool shaft (4) with pressure that is created by the thermal contraction of the bushing section (3), wherein the reducing bushing (2) comprises a plurality of slits (7) that do not run in parallel but rather transversally to the perceived middle line of the reducing bushing.
