abstract |
The object aims to find a novel function of a Kudzu flower (a flower of a plant belonging to the genus Pueraria) to increase the range of use applications of the Kudzu flower and provide a novel enhancer of the expression of a ß3-adrenergic receptor. The enhancer of the expression of a ß3-adrenergic receptor comprises a product of any treatment of a Kudzu flower. The enhancer can promote the degradation of a fat in a white adipocyte and accelerate the fat burning in a brown adipocyte, and therefore has a lipid metabolism-improving activity. Therefore, the enhancer can exhibit an anti-obesity effect and can prevent lifestyle-related diseases associated with obesity (e.g., diabetes) and others. |
