The present invention provides a composition for preventing hair loss or stimulating hair growth containing an extract obtained from fruits and seeds of Crataegus pinnatifida as its active ingredient. The extract can stimulate hair growth and promote healthy scalp by stimulating growth of human dermal papilla cells and keratinocytes. Therefore, the extract may be used effectively for compositions that slow the progress of hair loss and stimulate increase in the quality / quantity and growth of hair, such as pharmaceutical compositions for hair growth stimulation or functional cosmetic compositions. |
