Polymerizable composition containing inorganic particles having an organic shell |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a polymerizable composition which contains at least one polymerizable benzoxazine compound and inorganic nanoparticles, where the inorganic nanoparticles have an organic shell. The organic shell comprises polymers of ethylenically unsaturated monomers, with at least one of these ethylenically unsaturated monomers comprising at least one aromatic group or at least one pyrrolidone group. The present invention further provides adhesives, sealants or coating compositions containing the polymerizable composition of the invention and also the polymerization products of said compositions. The present invention also provides a process for producing polymerization products of the composition of the invention, where the corresponding polymerization products comprise a layer or a bundle of fibres. |
